Photo Copy Updated

Photo Copy makes it easy to transfer and organize photos from your digital camera. Just connect your camera to a USB port or insert the memory card in a card reader. Then a single click will locate the photos on the camera's memory card and transfer them to your computer. Photo Copy uses the date stored in the EXIF data of each image to create a filename using the image date and time. If you use multiple camera's (common when taking vacations) Photo Copy ensures that all images are properly organized. If two photos should end up with the same date and time, the time will be adjusted as needed to ensure no images are overwritten. Your photos will be easier to find and identify than the cryptic filenames most digital cameras use.

Photo Copy is a very simple utility, but it has become one of our most used applications. I hope you find it useful too! Version 2.4 was released May 7, 2011 and features a new user interface and improved photo detection. Visit the Photo Copy page for more information at www.mountain-software.com/photocopy.htm

Web Site Improved

If you visited our web site in recent weeks, you may have noticed our mess as we worked to remodel our site. We reorganized the site structure so you can find your way around easier. Most graphics have been updated to give the site a cleaner and more modern appearance. We also implemented a variety of techniques to make the pages load faster. I'm happy to report the paint is dry, the windows are clean, and the displays are set up. Please swing by and check out our grand reopening at www.mountain-software.com. Be sure to drop us a line and let us know what you think of the changes!

Testimonials Wanted

Unless you are an impulse shopper, you probably research products and services before you make a purchase. While promotional sales jargon could make a trash can sound exciting, most folks want to hear the experiences of those who went before them. Therefore, I invite you to email us with a testimonial telling other's what you like about your favorite Mountain Software product. We especially need testimonials for our newest products, Home Suite and the Milestones calendar. We will try to include as many as possible on our testimonial pages for the benefit of future visitors.

If you use our Home Cookin recipe software, I also encourage you to submit a customer review at Amazon.com.
