Photo Copy allows you to quickly
and easily transfer JPG and TIF photo's from your digital camera to
your hard drive. Any camera or card reader that provides a drive
letter under Windows should be compatible. You can even copy photo's
between two folders or drives on your computer.
You simply select an Action (Move or Copy), a source folder, a
destination folder, and the type of file naming you wish to use. The
number of photo's in each directory will be displayed automatically.
Once you configure Photo Copy, a single click on OK will copy your
photo's and exit the program.
The "YYYY-MM-DD HHMM" date based naming will use the EXIF date if
available. Otherwise the basic file date will be used. This format
allows the photo's to be sorted chronologically when using an
alphabetical sort. The last four digits will use the actual Hour and
Minute if available. If a file already exists by that name, the
minutes will advance until a free name is found. This convention
allows for shorter filenames at the expense of slightly less accuracy,
and still provides more accuracy than a simple counter.

No installation program is provided, as this is the only file needed to
run Photo Copy. Simply save it to the folder of your choice and run it
from that folder. A single configuration file will be created when you
change settings in Photo Copy.
The trial version is fully operational but will occasionally revert to the
default settings until you register. Photo Copy should work with all 32
bit versions of Windows
(95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP).
