For our 22nd anniversary, my wife and I took a two day trip to Mount Rainier. We have stayed at the Stormking cabins a few times over the years, and were happy to return to the "Eagle" cabin for our anniversary. It is usually raining or snowing when we visit Mount Rainier, so we usually just cuddle up in our cabin together. But since the weather was so nice on this trip, we decided to go out and do a little hiking around the area.

This was my first time to try out my new monopod, which I found to work very well for hiking. It added a lot of stability compared to handheld filming, but wasn't as restrictive or time consuming to setup as a full tripod. Combined with the Deshaker filter in post processing, the results are much steadier and more enjoyable to watch.
