All work and no play makes Anthony a very bored programmer... :) When I am not developing software products, one of my hobbies is making home movies. While my primary goal is to create a record of special moments in our lives, I sat through enough slide projector shows as a child to know home movies are usually dull, boring, or so shaky they make you nauseous. So, I make every effort to keep my movies short, entertaining, and as steady as possible. I'd rather lose a few precious moments and create a movie people actually want to watch, than to preserve two hours of Grandpa's birthday party that no one wants to take the time to sit through again. I am strictly an amateur videographer using consumer grade equipment, but I am always looking for new ways to improve my work. I typically spend days or weeks processing hours of raw video, before editing down to the few scenes I feel are worth keeping. It is a long slow process, but I hope you find these movies enjoyable.
